Take the stress out of budgeting
We offer a ‘no surprises' approach to fees so you know exactly what you are paying for. Village fees consist of a bond (equivalent to four weeks rent and refundable on departure) and a weekly residential fee which includes all utilities (water, electricity and gas).
Internet is available as an optional extra. Please enquire at reception for rates.
At Kelvin Grove Student Village, there are no unexpected bills during the year so you can concentrate on making the most of student life!

* To be eligible for the ‘First Year Exemption’, a prospective student of must:
(a) be a resident or a permanent resident of Australia;

(c) has signed a residential agreement at Kelvin Grove Student Village for the forthcoming academic year prior to the date that QTAC releases offers for QUT (QTAC Offer Date) for that relevant year.
If the prospective student is not offered (or does not accept an offer) a placement at QUT, the prospective student may give Kelvin Grove Student Village written notice to terminate the residential agreement, such notice to be given within 2 days after the QTAC Offer Date (time is of the essence). If notice is given within this period, the prospective student is released from liability under the residential agreement.
If a prospective student, however, fails to give notice within this period, the resident shall be liable, to the full extent, for the continuing liability provisions under the residential agreement for a termination of the residential agreement prior to the agreed contract term.
